Pendulums
A pendulum can be a wonderful and simple divination tool. Divination often comes with misconceptions regarding the source of the responses. Pendulums resonate with the vibration of truth, nothing more, nothing less. There is nothing questionable or threatening about it. However, it is always a good idea to use a pendulum in a space with clean energy or where sacred space has been claimed. Using a pendulum is as easy as following these instructions.
Before you start asking your pendulum questions, take a moment to go somewhere quiet, preferably with no wind. Hold your pendulum and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. Hold the end of your pendulum chain/string in one hand and let it hang a couple of inches above your other hand. Your pendulum should be completely still at this point. Ask your pendulum for a symbol for "Yes" or "Truth". Your pendulum should swing a certain way. It may swing up and down, or right and left. It may decide to swing in a circular motion, clockwise or counterclockwise. Whatever it does, take note of it. I like to thank my pendulum for it's response then stop it so that it hangs still once again. Next, ask your pendulum for a symbol for "No" or "False". It will move in a manner different than your symbol for truth. My pendulums usually swing in a clockwise, circular motion for "Truth" and an up & down swinging motion for "No". Now you are ready to ask your pendulum simple Yes/No or True/False questions.
It is a good idea to repeat this "calibration" often, sometimes your symbols may change. I will even pick up one of my pendulums and as it "Would you like to work with me today?" and sometimes the answer is a blatant "No".
As you get comfortable using a pendulum you can start using pendulum charts, either purchased or you can write your own responses to see where the pendulum swings in response to your questions.
